The Museum Project - The Final Design

Delivered. :)

Btw, I chose design 2C because it was the most "tech innovative", in harmony with the exhibit, of all the designs (in my opinion)...I made a few final alterations, which included adding some text regarding the exhibit as requested by my client ;) as well as the museum logo before saving as the final design build.

I have attached copies of the original contract with the cover letter here:

The Museum Project - Utilizing Tool Presets and Pattern Maker

I saved the two fonts I used for the second prototype in the 'Tool Presets' menu. The obvious advantage being that I can save time with each occurrence of type by having the font family, size, spacing, alignment, etc. predetermined and saved in advance.

I experimented using different elements in the composition by applying Photoshop's random 'Pattern Maker' filter. I have displayed 3 examples of the patterns I created and the effects when applied respectively as a seperate layer to the prototype.

The Museum Project - Poster Prototype 2

Here is the second prototype composition based on a different sketch. I'm much fonder of this composition so far...It blends more details without overwhelming and seems more balanced although purposely asymmetrical in design.

Prototype Poster #2

The Museum Project - Prototype 1

This is the first prototype for the poster based on some initial ideas:

My thoughts thus far are to rework the design with a few more elements in addition to creating several more entirely different concepts...More than likely I think this is going to go in a different direction ultimately...
